Glenn's Bio

Glenn specializes in all things math, particularly algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus, as well as SAT math and GRE math. He double majored in mathematics and cognitive science at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he earned the equivalent of a master’s in applied cognition and neuroscience; as of winter 2026, he will soon complete his doctorate in cognition and neuroscience. For 10 semesters, he has been a teaching assistant for a variety of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in math and cognitive sciences.

His tutoring journey began through his high school’s University Interscholastic League Academics (UIL) math team; he tutored middle and high schoolers in math topics up to calculus.

As an undergraduate, he led an organization for autistic and neurodivergent individuals and gave keynote speeches at parent and educator summits with 3 of the 20 Regional Education Service Centers (RESC) of Texas (which oversee all Texas education). “My proudest moment as a teacher and mentor has been to hear that some of the RESC schools that my neurodivergent organization spoke with have adjusted their policies and implemented new policies based on our presentations,” he shares.

Glenn’s approach is “warm, welcoming, and patient.” Having spearheaded advocacy initiatives serving neurodivergent learners, he’s adept at working with students of various backgrounds and abilities. “I believe that all students have the potential to succeed in their academic endeavors, and I am keenly interested in exploring nonstandard means for teaching students when necessary,” he adds. Instead of rote memorization, he aims to build strong critical thinking skills, enabling students to learn—and succeed—independently.

He’s proud to share that as a member of his high school’s UIL team, he placed in the top 6 in the state competition his sophomore and junior years—and 1st his senior year! “I still enjoy practicing mental mathematics as a hobby,” he notes. Glenn’s intellectual excellence also earned him a hefty scholarship for his undergraduate degree at UT Dallas, where he graduated magna cum laude from the Collegium V Honors College. And as a doctoral student, he received a $20,000 research award through UT Dallas’ Friends of BrainHealth Center.

In college, Glenn acted as president of the neurodivergent organization (For Autistic Empowerment) for several years and would later become the President of Students for Neurodiversity Aligned Practices, an advocacy organization. He also served as president of Terry Scholar, a student organization, and VP of the Synergy Wesley organization.

When he’s not poring over his dissertation, he enjoys long walks and drives “while pondering cognition and philosophy, and journaling about both.”
