“Most topics, on being introduced, need to be explained outright,” Isaac K. says. “After a topic has been introduced, deeper understanding is best found by a person discovering things for themselves, so I ask a lot of leading questions. Whats, whens, and hows are all good, but whys are best because why-questions drill into the purpose and the mechanics of the thing.”
